Our mission is to help poor Filipinos, to give them hope and to fight against poverty for the betterment of our society.

 

   Pearlene Delaliarte Calibo is the founder of the “Heart for the Poor” which aims to address the needs and concerns of poor Filipino families. She came from Cadiz City and pursuing her dream to be a CPA at University of St. La Salle, Bacolod City. She was inspired by her mother to help other people especially those who are in a state of not having a good and normal way of life and she began her project through this blog. Her advocacy started in year 2017.

    Calibo works together and stays connected with different non-profit organizations from various parts of the Philippines such as Virlanie Foundation, UNICEF Philippines, World Vision Philippines, A Liter to Light by MyShelter Foundation, Tuloy Foundation, Philippine National Red Cross, Philippine-American Foundation for Charities, Inc., Operation Blessing Philippines and Baba's Foundation, Inc. that cater charity to poor Filipino people. She introduced this blog in order to spread her advocacy and inspire others. The donations that will be received will be sent directly to the aforementioned organizations. Furthermore, this aims to encourage other people to join and volunteer in providing educational and health care services for free.
